gross, but that wouldn't get someone fired.

Where I work now..
There was a previous shift supervisor that would watch porn on the computer.
The monitor faced the door that people would walk through from the plant floor.
He was never fired for that.

I won't even go into the inappropriate things I've encountered at work...

To be fair, I haven't reported it (I've looked into it). Determined it's in my better interest to keep them scared & willing to help my career vs a claim with little evidence and a he said she said situation

I....... oh boy. This is bad.

I was putting in a 80 hour work week and it was my first week at the railroad. The new owner was all about manners in the back office instead of engaging the front office. And also a bean counter that introduced her own alkie druggie brats into the team but that's another story. So it's 11 at night and I'm working in "her" new office (although the other owner assigned me to group sales, she claimed the office as hers and didn't let anyone use the books the two whole days she came in a week) entering data and sending communication to clients.

And it's really fucking hot. I'm alone, so I take off my shirt. I'm gradually doing the job of this other girl and she was my friend for years. She found out and took the dirt to Mrs. Manners. Then she called me in, confiscated my keys, locked me out of my email (34 clients waiting to hear back from us, oh well) and told me to find a new job.

The other owner took me out of the office and put me on the freight side. Now I'm a conductor in training and have passed my safety class as of this afternoon, got my gear, and I'm finally working along side my beloved train crew.

I was asked to stop wearing dresses to work

I'm pretty conservative at work & would never wear anything I wouldn't wear to church or a funeral. Nothing anyone would get fired over, but, seriously?! Ugh, sometimes I curse my industry. Sounds like cddweller works in a male dominated industry too. However taking your shirt off at work is never approps, even if no one is around...
