I've got a replacement bulb, 4114k, got the headlight assembly removed, and have the DLR socket removed from the turn signal housing, but how do you remove the old bulb? I just pull it really hard? I don't want the glass to bust in my fingers

disregard the 'iv' at the end of thread title, posted from mobile, then it started storming so i have to try tomorrow
i'll bring some needlenose pliers this time but it looked like there were some tabs/clips holding it inside, and like i said, i didn't want the glass to break while i was squeezing it with my fingers

there is nothing holding the bulb in the socket besides dirt and corrosion on the contacts
if you're really worried about the glass breaking, wrap it up and break it first, then pull the plug out 7/16/2012 5:45:46 PM |

^hahaha, I was at Autozone yesterday picking up a part for my wife's jeep and saw one of the poor counter guys sweating his ass off working on a VW bug for a little hottie in yoga pants. 7/17/2012 9:43:38 AM |
