I've also seen that White Hart Lane will be in the game.

We also had to find people with different dialects as well, so we found ourselves asking the studio if anyone knows someone Welsh, it's been kind of fun. So does it go all the way up to the c-bomb? I'm pretty sure it's all in there, yeah. Does it work on picking up the right words or is it more of a tone of voice thing? So, if I say 'go suck a bag of dicks ref' or something, but I say it in a nice way, will it know the word dick or is it looking for... It will know the word, but I'm not entirely sure if the aggressiveness will have an affect on top of that."

Bump for the demo release. Plays well like 12, but I'm going to hold any judgments until I play the final version. The 12 Demo was super wonky and the game turned out terrific.

It's nice to see the players actively looking to move into attack positions instead of having to go into the custom tactics and push everything to freeform and 100 chance creation.

Just played my first game. Hit the woodwork 6 times. Had 26 shots and won 0-0 in PKs. Love the gameplay so far. Have to get used to the touches not being perfect every time. On the ball moves look promising.

Virtual pro is just starting a career with a player and then making a custom one with gameface. You can't play with them outside of the career mode, which sucks. Player manager, is really just manager this year. Starting as a player, you can retire anytime and become a manager.

I've realized all these modes aren't fun since I started playing Football Manager. I only play to play games, not sim a team.

If you go to Xbox Live or whatever the equivalent is for you then go to Pro Clubs then that's online Virtual Pro. But your online guy is separate from your offline.

Virtual Pro was creating a player with baseline ratings which were then built up through accomplishments. The player could be used in all modes, and it was dope. My guy was sick. It was good so I guess they had to trash it in the name of "progress." You would think skipping Fifa 12 there would be lots of noticeable changes and upgrades over the course of two years. Still seems like the same game with a slightly altered first touch mechanic and lots of shit taken out that I enjoyed. Again, fuck EA.

Pretty sure they had to split up Virtual Pros between online/offline because people kept hacking their virtual pros in fifa 12. I ran into way too many giants with 127 speed online in fifa 12.

They split it up because by making offline and online pro the same player, you could just play offline games with all of the sliders changed to boost your pro up to the highest rating.

improvements/new physics/AI get a 10/10 A+++++ from me

for years I've been complaining about the AI being a split second off from where I want them to be as I pass it, and they finally seem to have perfected it

everything is so much smoother/faster and I absolutely loved it

celebrated by having my one of my greatest 4 game runs against ^ last night

Other thing that has happened to me twice which I'm not sure is a bug or a designed feature: On the drop ball after the whistle is blown for an injury, the other team has KEPT THE BALL. Naturally, I started going for their legs.

I replaced my old xbox and got the kinect w/ my new package... I've already been cautioned by the board in my manager career to "tone down my language" and once or twice hearing the commentators respond to my foulmouthed tirades by mentioning it in passing, but nothing concrete


does the game actually DO anything besides tell you to "tone it down" ?
