I believe there is a specific term used for when a system essentially has a list of check-boxes for permissions that you can define for each user-role.

Is there a term for that, if so what is it? Or am I mistaken?


If that's not clear; there's a list of every possible permission for the system, I can then go in and select a particular user-role, and then check off the specific permissions (from the complete list) that I want that particular user-role to have within the system.
