these are the two I have heard most about.

for $2k you can get some pretty damn good houses.

Have you checked out WWW.AHRN.COM? That is a good site to look at for houses in the area.

If you are trying to stay near base, I would consider Poulsbo and Keyport.

It takes me 15 or so mins to get to lower base from my apt on Ridgetop Blvd and my fiancee's house is in Poulsbo near Keyport and I can get there in the same amount of time.

If you have kids I would stay in the central kitsap school district, it is the best area.

Yeah...we look at AHRN daily, and a bunch of other sites...the problem is finding something that hasn't had pets in it (children allergies).
