This is just a cruise to the Bahamas - Nassau and Freeport.

Ugh... yesterday was my last day of work before the cruise, and it went by sooooo slowly.

BTW, do I know anyone here on TWW that lives in Baltimore?

I've never been to Nassau but Freeport is pretty cool. We didnt do a cruise, just flew to Freeport and stayed at the Grand Lucayan. If you can get access to the private beach at Grand Lucayan, its really nice.

Otherwise there is a public beach located next to the Grand Lucayan which is where all the locals/people staying at the dumpy motels go to. There is a shack on the public beach that serves food. Best conch we had while in Freeport.

Get your hair braided at the Braiding Huts on the beach. Then whip your hair back and forth. And take pics.

I'd stay away from the Grand Lucayan for food/drinks. Its overpriced and I think the food/drinks that you can get in the marketplace (located right across the street) is better and a lot cheaper. You have to get a coconut drink!

Oh, and stay far away from the casino at Grand Lucayan. Its a total ripoff.
