tl;dr

suburban white people try to emulate the crip walk, so its ok for somebody from compton who had a family member killed by gang members to do it at the olympics, and it doesnt at all embarass the USA

i was never in a gang, doubt anybody else on tww was, but i did/do know some gang members, as well as some who lived many years in LA, including people who are now out of that lifestyle...they think it was disrespectful...i dont have to prove my opinions to some newspaper journalists with a story to write
