Found a black lab mix w/ expired rabies tags off Kaplan Sierra Drive. She has a nub tail and her expired tags lead back to Walnut Cove, NC. I have an address for the owner but no phone number, etc. Can I ship her in a box via USPS?

No chip or other identifying information.



Any help is appreciated.

You can use the address to do a reverse phone look-up. Have you tried that?

The dog's owner has been found (vet pulled paper records for rabies tag) and she doesn't seem to like any of my suggestions (microchip, up-to-date info on tag, etc.). Some people just don't know how to take care of their dog...

What an idiot

As a guy that has lost a dog I had for 7 years and raised from when he was 10 weeks old, I will always microchip my pets.
