yes i'm drinking the koolaid, but i think this could happen.

he could lose said title to Trent Richardson, but i think Wolf-Badger is the best positioned rookie QB this year.

1/16 games...and I'm a Redskins fan. Losing to the Cardinals sure doesn't help his case though...and RGIII looked studly.

"Wilson — The story of Wilson fighting his way to the starting lineup for Seattle is a great, inspirational tale. However, the realities of starting a small quarterback were demonstrated in the loss to the Cardinals. Wilson is a great athlete who can extend plays. But the thing that happens as soon as Wilson gets pressured is that his eye level changes and he can't find receivers downfield. He basically becomes a runner almost immediately. If you want to see the difference, watch Roethlisberger and then watch Wilson. That's not to say Wilson can't play in the NFL. It just means that if first impressions are accurate, Wilson's future is as a backup."

Are you guys really going to turn this into a Jaybee vs TT10 thread again?

RW still did better than Weeden and Tannehill.

RW had a chance to win (Baldwin drop in Endzone, Edwards just missing the ball in the endzone)

RW also played without Golden Tate. (not saying that would have won the game had he played)

Edwards may suck, but he is better than what they had.

Good seeing Sidney Rice make some good catches.

Patrick Peterson generally owned Rice. Rice has to be tougher than he is.

None of the seahawks WRs could get any separation.

Too bad there isn't an NFL where wilson can compete only against Weeden and Tannehill. Those are low standards of performance and are not even worth any comparison.

Little bit of a rough start, but not bad at all for a rookie that couldn't even start in the ACC as a senior.

There were a lot of QBs he outplayed today, and the most important part in my opinion is that he controlled the ball in only giving up one interception in the face of non-stop blitzes. Once he catches up to the speed of the game and receivers start getting separation I think he'll start putting up better stat lines.

I agree a little with the writer above. For whatever reason, he abandoned the pass too early often. Instead of the normal RW of stepping into the pocket and extending the play to find a receiver, he fell into the trap of running. The game is too fast for that at the NFL level and it got exposed.

However, he pretty much threw balls only where his team could catch them and he protected the ball. The pick he threw had absolutely no impact on the outcome, and that's why he took the risk. I think he at least earned a few more starts.

He did have the Pass/Lateral that he should have thrown and the Ground penalty. and Two other plays that were similar.

OL and backs need to work on blitz pick up and let him get a little more comfortable. Not canceling my RW #3 jersey yet.

isn't it about time for a time-out for face? he's just been trolling about rw for the last several weeks. i mean, what value does that (^^^^) add to the discussion? it's blatant trolling against ncsu fans.

I was disappointed that he didn't play very well but Arizona got good pressure on him. That sack by Dockett was pretty jarring. Arizona may have a good defense this year, too early to tell.

The bad play that Wilson made that really sticks out though was that awful screen pass he threw backwards that got ruled a fumble.

^ he had pressure and knew a pic wouldn't cost them anything. The risk/reward made it a no brainer to attempt it. I remember in college he did that a bunch at the end of halfs and it NEVER hurt.

Also, he has always had a hard time understanding intentional grounding, but he never throws a pic from it. So what's the big deal? it's the same as a sack. Who's fault is that? Right after he turned from the play action, the pressure was in his face. That's coaching.

Not saying he played well AT ALL, but let's be realistic. He just needs to trust his arm a little more and let the running come to him.
