Ice T is one of the forgotten greats. He was relevant before the days when rap albums went platinum and got radio play. I think O.G. (1991) was his magnum opus.

Ice T, AMG, DJ Quik, Too Short, Spice 1...... all important to the evolution of West Coast rap. It makes 85% of todays shit sound like nursery rhymes written by 3rd graders.
