Throwing this out there for all the WWF players to see if I am missing something here.

I opened up with "IT". I always open games with 2 letter words
My opponent played "CLAUSES" and somehow scored 52 points.

Here is a picture of the layout for better reference:


C = 4
L = 2
A =1
U = 2
S, E, T = 1

Looking at the board, he should have only gotten 16 points, hitting the double letter on the L but nothing else. How in the hell did he get 52? Just a glitch in the game or what?

and I always open with the least amount of points possible to force my opponent to make the first move, essentially. If I am going to give up big points, I would rather do it in the beginning of the game rather than the end.

i stopped playing WWF when i found out most people run a background program to calculate them the best possible letter combinations.

Nothing pisses me off more when i put down words i think up myself, while my asshole opponent plays "Xi" and gets 35 points.
