i don't religiously watch it but if it nothing else is on i may flip it to that channel. it's nothing more than mindless entertainment for me.

I only watch Good Eats and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives

And I tune there for my occasional fix of Giada's tits

I love Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Travel channel and watch them if I watch non-DVR'd TV at all.

Yeah, I'd put the HD quality of the film shots on the food network to be the bar. They know how to shoot it and shoot it well. I just wish some tv shows followed their "recipe" for shooting; atleast make some poor plots somewhat easier to follow if shot well. Wide, Mid, Detail.. Mid, Detail, Wide... repeat.

The rest of TV programming has 99% gone to hell. Shit, at least the food network is still mostly about food.

Can't say the same for History, Speed, National Geographic, The Learning Channel, A&E, etc.

i have several Food Network shows set to DVR all new episodes. i regularly check that channel if i'm looking for something to watch. it's definitely one of my Top 5 Most Watched Channels.
