Tupac died again

What made this failed company even more stressful to the public, is that its IPO was implemented using $135 million in taxpayer subsidies from the state of Florida.







When Digital Domain Media resurrected Tupac Shakur last year in hologram form at the Coachella Festival, it brought great fanfare from the millions of fans of the rap artist, and potentially ushered in a new frontier of bringing famous people back to life in digital form.

Unfortunately, this resurrection was short lived as On Sept. 11, Digital Domain Media filed for bankruptcy.
