So at the college I teach at I just got a campus crime alert email.

It says that a student is dressed as a college employee, and has the keys to (all?) the vending machines.

This student is stealing money and/or snacks.

I find this to be very amusing, although I wonder where they got the uniform and keys? I hope some snack peddler isn't hurt somewhere!

Anyone have similar amusing campus crime alert experiences?

Years ago at Appalachian there were a couple of months where a guy was running around at night pulling girls' pants down and running off. The wanted posters around campus called him "Shankenstein," and included a drawing that looked someone like the "You Gon Get Raped" meme.

Apparently on my campus there's someone going around writing racial slurs on people's dorm room doors. One of my students this morning told me an email went out about it but apparently they didn't bother to send it to staff only students.
