One who feels like they need to be better than everyone else, so they constantly "one-up" anything that anyone says.

Someone who needs to make themself feel better by making themself seem greater than everyone else.

Someone who needs to be better than you because of his/her insecurities. No matter what you say about anything they will top it.

Sounds like someone is a nazi about wording, which I admit I have expressive aphasia and can't express myself efficiently and precisely through words. This is no secret.

I definitely get wording close enough that people can understand what I'm saying without being a dickhead about it.

Feel free to keep correcting me though.

I'm talking about correcting factual errors, like the electrical cabinets that you thought were Freemason FEMA coffins.

Whoops, I just corrected you again.

What kind of electrical cabinets are they?

Is the title of the video. Regardless, the point of me posting that video is to find out what they actually were.

"Correction" is a little far fetched when the title has question marks.

Three-phase I believe. They even have the grade line marked on the side.

No, sir.

grade line

(civil engineering) A line or slope used as a longitudinal reference for a railroad or highway.

It has nothing to do with electrical lingo. Try again.
Or simple google image search an electrical box in that form.

In this case, grade line refers to how deep you're supposed to bury the base of the cabinet. That's really cute that you had to google "grade line" though.

lol. If it's solely a civil engineering term, why would it be written on the side of a coffin?

Once again, the coffin claim is the title of the video.

The grade line is for civil engineers for when they install the box.

And lastly, what is the name of the electrical box? I see you somebody else tinypic'd the picture so that I couldn't see where you stole the image from.

When I GIS your picture, it took me to another site about the Freemason video, which I assume you got your information
http://lunaticoutpost.com/Topic-Semi-Truck-With-Freemason-Symbols-Hauling-FEMA-Coffins-Wisconsin-Sept-2012?page=3

From there I found http://www.highlineproducts.com/cabinets.htm
Which the box is called "FIBERGLASS SECTIONALIZING CABINETS "
Which happens to be a "Two phase" variety

And in your post about the "FEMA coffins", you wrote "You can't make this shit up:". But you were wrong about that too. Someone did make it up.

who still uses two-phase anyway? actually a serious question

I used to do wiring for commercial and multi-family and I only saw single-, three- and split-phase configurations. thought two-phase was used in old factories, so they didnt need a kickstarter for their induction motors, but was pretty much archaic

then again I've had nothing to do with the industry for quite some time now

paerabol, why can't a two phase electrical system fit inside a three phase box?

that is a single phase fiberglass box pad. that one in particular is buried into grade. some are bolted directly down onto a precast transformer pad.

two phase power is very rarely used, mainly in limited control wiring applications.

three phase 120/208 or three phase 277/480 is the norm in commercial and industrial applications with single phase 120/208 in residential settings.

Quote :

no one said it couldn't. it's just a big empty box. but for the most part single phase and three phase utility transformers have standard sizes which is why precast pads and boxes are built to fit

paerabol, I found this:

Two phase power, like three phase, gives constant power transfer to a linear load. But in a three wire system it has a neutral current which is greater than the phase currents. Also motors aren't entirely linear and this means that despite the theory, motors running on three phase tend to run smoother than those on two phase. The generators at Niagara Falls installed in 1895 were the largest generators in the world at the time and were 2 phase machines. True two-phase power distribution is essentially obsolete. Special purpose systems may use a 2 phase system for control. Two-phase power may be obtained from a three-phase system using an arrangement of transformers called a Scott T. Today 2 phase power is used for stepper motors, special AMD computer CPUs and a few other specialized applications.

^^ interesting (abt two-phase)

^ bolded part interesting

[Edited on September 27, 2012 at 2:11 PM. Reason : i still rmember apprenticing an electrician when i was younger that told me 2-phase didnt exist]

haha, it does sound like the beginning of a joke! But no, I have no idea why a 2 phase can't fit inside a 3 phase box, nor can I figure out why the boxes are shaped differently. I'm not an electrician

See, you don't understand why we think you are crazy and I'd like to help you out. While maybe everyone wouldn't recognize those as boxes for electrical equipment (or similar boxes for fire connections, backflor prevention valves, etc)... what is crazy is assuming they are FEMA coffins. And also assuming that if FEMA ever did purchase coffins its because of some nefarious plot or because they know something.

Seriously, its a huge jump from "fiberglass or plastic looking box of some sorts that I don't recognize" to a fucking "fema coffin"

for fucks sake
