it's my first build on protoboard.

does everything in this diagram seem legit, cause all i'm getting is LEDs that light up and don't flash at any rate:

i may have fried something cause i hooked it up wrong once and there was a spark sound and a burnt smell. but everything is right now and the pentometer...it's like it isn't even there.

s'what i'm thinking. i think i'll replace the 555 and the oscillator. capacitor should be ok right?

You might want to check it. Multimeter is your friend.

make sure your leds and your caps are in the right direction too
