I used to just climb onto the counter and grab what I need and then jump down

I hate when the top shelf of a grocery store has 1 box of whatever I need pushed way to the back. And then there are no other tall people around. So you have to find the next tallest person and hope that the two of you can create a totem pole to get that last box of cake mix.

I have 3 reachers in my house. Like the ones that you see in cheesy catalogs or infomercials with the little mechanical pincers at the end. The house that I live in was built by my grandparents who were both fairly tall so many of the upper cabinets are unreachable for me otherwise. I do haul myself up on the cabinets to get things down, but the reachers come in handy.
