i spent quite a bit of time in OIB in college (my roommate's parents had a beach house there) - i also went to a bachelorette party in OIB a few years ago. There's a few restaurants on your left when you come over the bridge onto the island, one of them is Sharkies, the other is the Gigglin Mackerel (i think). They usually have bands, they have a bar (the gigglin mackerel has a rooftop-ish type spot which is nice). There's also some place across the street from there (or maybe its across from the BP gas station) that does karaoke and locals go to hang out and drink.

OR i could be making the whole thing up - i was usually completely smashed whenever i was there but it's a really nice beach and it's not far from Myrtle Beach if you wanted to go down there during the day and do Barefoot Landing or something.

whenever we would go down there, it was mostly to just hang out at the house and drink - my roommate's parents had an awesome back deck so we would just listen to music, drink and chill out there.

regarding games - i wouldn't be a good person to help out there. i don't like bridal games so i didn't have any at my party. we did do a lingerie party but i know that Elise mentioned in the Ladies Talk Shop thread she wasn't going to have one (twist her arm - she'll get a lot of nice stuff and people really do pay attention to what the bride likes or would like)

Do a scrapbook for the bride. Tell the guests to bring together photos of she and elise, each person gets a page (or two) to create.

Send the groom questions prior to the party to have him answer. Ask the bride the same questions at the party and see how many she gets right. Could incorporate drinking if you wanted.

I second lingerie. I got a lot of great things from the everyday cotton night gowns to the special occasion.

I like penis straws. I think they're hilarious.

"Suck for a buck" tshirt when you go out. Pin candy all over a shirt, concentrating candy in boob region, for $1 people you meet can suck the candy off her shirt. I made ~$60.
