i agree that the circus peanuts and especially black licorice are shit. the bottles really don't taste that bad, there's just nothing to them. the orange ring things are dank.

Had some Mexican candy in a Mexican restaurant once. It was basically a dried fruit juice nugget (like a roll up but a solid piece) that was covered in chili powder.

Worst candy ever.

reese's are one of the best candies, but everyone has had a reese's that is old, dry, and powdery, or has melted before it got to the store. those make a drastic fall to the bottom of the spectrum.

peach rings are fun cause you stick your tongue in the hole as you suck the sour stuff off them and then it's this smooth ring thing that you flirt with until you rip it somehow and say fuck it and chew/swallow

I've never tried the wax bottle-looking thingies, circus peanuts, or tamarind candy.

But every other candy in this thread is delicious, including^. Old people got the serious hook-up when it comes to Werther's and those divine strawberry candies that have no name.

Maybe circus peanuts would be better if they were smaller?
