Just saw this mug from this mug's information:
Quote : | "My name is Joel Williams. I was born August 25, 1984. I have really led a blessed life that is amazing from meeting celebrities such as Kenny Chesney, to Dale Earnhardt Jr. (who I must say is one heck of a guy), to wrestling on the independent wrestling scene, and wrestling my childhood hero, Ricky Morton of the Rock ’N’ Roll Express, to being backstage at a WWE show and meeting my two idols in wrestling, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. I have also met many professional athletes. But where I am proudest on this front is my work in politics. I have done everything from work in NASCAR for a local race team to work on Presidential Campaigns. I was a professional wrestler for six years, and anyone who has seen the movie, The Wrestler, knows how physical and just how grueling that can be. I have been an Intern for the Barack Obama Campaign for Change. I have met President Obama and all I can say is WOW!!!! What a man!!!! He has inspired me to make a Change in this World. And not just any Change, but Change We Need. But see I take a different approach to how I look at things than what a lot of people in politics do. I guess you could say that I take the Obama approach. You see depending on your tastes, the condition that we as people and citizens of the United States of America are in, is a direct result of radical conservatism or perverse liberalism. It could be that you like Tom Delay or Nancy Pelosi, and then you have big oil or the greed trial lawyer, religious zealots or gay activists, Fox News or MSNBC, The Wall Street Journal or The New York Times. What I see is that both sides in distilled form have become mirror images of themselves and this is sad. Why can’t we go back to the days of the 1950's and 1960's and work together? We have lost our common ground in Politics in America and have forgotten that we are all Americans and that is our common ground, we need to be working for each other not just because one is Democrat and one is Republican, but because we are Americans in this great country, The United States of America! I believe that we can reclaim the American Dream, the one thing that separates this great country from all the rest in the world. There are certain things though that while I worked on the campaign, that I found out about people, young and old, regardless of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. Those things are that anyone who is willing to work should make a living wage. I believe that you shouldn’t have to file bankruptcy just because you get sick. I believe that all children should be entitled to a genuinely good education, and that those same children, me included, should be able to go to college even if their parents can’t afford it. Everybody should be safe from criminals and terrorists alike, Everybody should be safe from criminals and terrorists alike, and we should all as citizens of the world be entitled to clean air and water, and everyone should be entitled to retire with some dignity." |

The organs of the Left aren't nearly as numerous, as powerful, or as divorced from reality as those of the Right; methinks he's just spouting false equivalence to sound politically correct. 2. Does he not remember the divisiveness of McCarthyism and the black Civil Rights movement? I mean sure it didn't break along partisan lines, because they hadn't yet aligned with the ideological lines as they do now; when Republicans and Democrats back in the day advanced the cause of freedom, it was with the support of liberals and moderates in both parties against the conservatives in both parties, while now the liberals and moderates are all Democrats (thank the Teabaggers for the demise of moderate Republicans in politics, while the conservatives became Rethugs and the liberals became Democrats long ago).
This guy sounds like a naïve idealist, much as I was back when I didn't know much about politics. 11/9/2012 12:33:45 AM

ok as someone who also worked on the Obama Campaign in 2008, let me share with you what I learned. Black people are stupid and violent even when they're trying to do something productive. 11/9/2012 2:30:08 AM
