Businesses bombarding me with Christmas trees, Christmas music, Santa hats, and the like, and its barely the 2nd week in November. The leaves haven't even fallen off the trees yet. I mean... Can we not enjoy a decent Thanksgiving nowadays? Where's the BOGO cranberry sauce? What happened to the "The Horn of Plenty?" I want my freakin' gourds damn it.
Last week I was in Rugged Wearhouse listening to "Here comes Santa Clause." It was November 5th. It's like... Can I not buy a slightly imperfect bobo hoodie without hearing music promoting a holiday that's TWO MONTHS away? Bullshit...
The Harris Teeter by my house has a giant Christmas tree in their lobby. Cheap ass "Made in China" Santa hats on the end caps at every register. Where do these f*ckers get off? I'm going to write an e-mail to the folks at Harris Teeter concerning this ridiculousness. If you feel the same way, I encourage you to do the same.
