Talk about sensationalized. I don't think there's a medical condition known as spontaneous abortion, I believe it's called miscarriage. And a lot of products can lead to miscarriages, that's why everything is labeled "Do not take if pregnant"

In fact roughly a third of all pregnancies end in miscarriage. Though the mother may not realize she was ever pregnant or had a miscarriage.

Odd. I was taught that the term miscarriage was the lay term for a spontaneous abortion, which was in fact the proper biological or medical term.

^ Every search I do for a definition on spontaneous abortion directs me to miscarriage. I've never heard the term before. While I'm not a health care professional, I have read enough reports, books and articles on infant mortality and miscarriages to know that the most common term is "Miscarriage"

Spontaneous Abortion seems like a rather incendiary term to me.

I drank a shit ton of Red Bull after baby number 1, but only to help with a post dural punch head ache. But while knocked up I nixed the overload of caffeine.
