Ages? Do you want to/plan on having them or not?

28, 25. Not sure yet. If we do, not for a few more years at least.

Married, no kids. I'm almost 32 and she's 30. Neither one of us are sure if we want kids, so probably no.

Engaged...me 29, she 31. Will be 30, and her 32 on wedding date. She can feel the biological clock ticking and will no doubt want a kid before 35. I'm going to be pushing that date (further)...but we'll see.

I'm for kids...but I'm getting closer to being indifferent. Pretty sure I'll definitely want one (or two)...just not in the next few years.

I'm 28 and she is 27.
We plan to have one attempt. Twins are prevalent in our families, and we are not going to have 3 kids.
We agreed on kids at age 30, but there is always room for change.

We both enjoy the freedom of being able to pick up and go anywhere/do anything. Plus we like having disposable income.

i've always wanted kids...though sometimes i think i'd be okay not having any and just enjoying having disposable income and plenty of time to do whatever i want

i went to Diamonds Direct. i don't know or care enough about diamonds to know if i got a good deal or not. she was happy with it and it didn't break the bank. the folks were easy to get along with.

diamonds direct blew me off completely when they found out i was bringing in a diamond and that i just wanted the ring itself (and them to set it, of course)

the few times i got attention, they kept pushing me to buy a more expensive ring than i wanted and told me that if i couldn't afford it, they could set me up on a payment plan or some shit

ended up getting her ring at reed's and they were awesome...i actually liked jared's better (they had the same ring i wanted), but the price at reed's was much better

they don't make money on rings. they make money on diamonds, so that's not surprising.

she had already picked out what ring she wanted. diamonds direct didn't have it, but they ordered it and sold it to me at cost.

jared's "vault values" (if you find the perfect thing) are a stupid good deal

we're both 27 and pretty sure we aren't having kids.

Judging from reactions we get when we tell people that we're like 99.9% sure we aren't going to have children, I would have thought we were in the minority but it doesn't look that way from this thread. Is "we're never having a kid" just something all couples in their late 20s say and then eventually change their minds?

It's already getting annoying hearing the "so when are you going to have a kid?" type questions.

i'm tired of folks laughing at me and telling me i'll change my mind or that she'll change her mind. if she changes her mind i'll be hitting the road. fuck that shit. i can buy a new boat every year for what i'd spend on a fuck trophy.

I think if you make it to late 20s still saying that, the chances get slimmer and slimmer every year.

I want to know this too. But because most everyone else agrees having kids is the right thing to do, I bet they'll just keep on asking.

It's less likely that an aide will steal your cash than you'll give it away via a fraudulent mailing.

GODDAMNIT WHITE PEOPLE! Whites are the true minority worldwide and the disparity gap is growing wider by the day! Start breeding or the advanced western culture will disappear! We are being breeded out by intellectually inferior hispanics, blacks, and arabs! All advancements that have happened over the past 400 years have been due to the achievements of a white western society! Do not fall for the jew's multicultural agenda! There is nothing to be gained from race mixing and multiculturalism!

^^ No damnit. it has nothing to do with retarded conservative evangelical Christians.

We need reasonable college educated people to start having larger families.

28 and 27, we were not planning to have them right away after marriage but thinking about it now, two years after getting hitched. This thread makes me concerned about the future of educated America. What are your reasons for not having kids/having them into your forties?

There's no guarantee your kids will be up to the task. They might mismanage your money or turn out to be greedy pieces of shit who stick you in a crappy rest home and forget you ever existed.

There are too many people in the world as it is. As for being into one's forties, the older you are, the more complications are introduced into the reproduction process.

Here's an idea: let's worry about the future of our society as a whole, and educate ALL the children, instead of only worrying about our own snot-nosed kids. Educating your own children is great and all, but you can do a whole lot more good helping an underprivileged kid transcend poverty and lower the birth rate.
