Bought for me as a gift and I can't return it to Belk, nor will they give me store credit (bastards). I've never worn it and it still has all the tags on it. It's a size 46L (too big for me) and was originally $400... I'm asking $200.

How tall are you? I am willing to do 125 if it is the right fit. 11/20/2012 12:05:35 AM |

Wow, unless it's over a year old I'd raise hell at Belks. 11/20/2012 12:07:04 AM |

^ I've already tried raising hell... Only made me more mad and didn't even work.
^^ I'm 6'5 but apparently too skinny to fit in the jacket. 11/20/2012 8:08:34 AM |

You know, if you're within a couple sizes of the jacket, a good tailor can bring it and make it fit for you. Most expensive part of that is the shoulders, which may possibly fit you right already even if you're too small.
Just a suggestion, if you like the blazer and are willing to tailor it. 11/26/2012 5:51:14 PM |

question. With jackets can they make the arms longer or only bring them in? 11/26/2012 11:49:39 PM |

^Depends on the cuff and the interior material--almost always easier to shorter, obviously. 11/27/2012 3:09:31 AM |

If the shoulders/armholes aren't right, it's probably not worth getting tailored. I mean, 46 chest is barrel chest or fat territory, so I'm this tall skinny guy looks like he's wearing grandpa's old suit. A blazer is kind of a silly thing to buy for someone unless you're allowing them to go get fitted and then paying for it.

I'd like to get at least $150 for it... After all, it is a nice Ralph Lauren Polo jacket! 11/27/2012 11:01:07 AM |

^^Yeah that's why I said the shoulders are the most expensive part. No idea if this guy is close to the size where the shoulders might be okay. Saving a $400 blazer might be worth shoulder work, but I personally wouldn't bother. Too risky and too expensive. 11/27/2012 4:35:38 PM |

^ Exactly why I'm trying to get rid of it... I'm sure it'll fit someone else and they can save some money on a nice jacket at my expense 11/27/2012 5:11:00 PM |
