The scoring system is a little stupid and you can figure out how to game it, but over the course of a few games the more knowledgeable player will usually come out on top

Unlocked "Video Games" already and will probably do "Movie Themes" or "Wrestling Themes" next...TON of categories to choose from though

I am best in classic rock and 90's alternative...I pretty much give up any hope of winning fairly when people challenge me in Today's Hits or Modern Rap

i was playing this one girl, i kept dropping East Coast Rap and she kept doing Christian Gospel Music or something, and neither of us had a chance in the others category

finally got a couple scores over 20,000 but haven't reached 22,000 yet or done the 'guess all 5 songs in under 1 second' achievement, that shit is hard

got 3 stars in East Coast Rap, gonna unlock West Coast Rap for my next one i think

It's not really stupid if you just remember that getting a streak is more important than being fast. Too often I lose just because my fingers are too jumpy and I don't listen to an extra second of song that I would have known otherwise.

Been playing for a few months and I really enjoy it. It seems as though everyone I used to play with stopped playing though. Playing mostly randoms these days.

Well I guess my gripe is that I think valuing a 4 song streak higher than getting 2 right, 1 wrong, 2 right is stupid. Game should reward the people that are faster, not the people who happened to get the 5th song wrong instead of the 3rd

The other thing that I really think is dumb is that you can see what your opponent is guessing. While this isn't horrible, it basically guarantees you a win if you happen to get the first song right and the first person playing didn't. Then you just copy every answer from that point on and you win

you can turn this option off...but can't turn it off for your opponent so i hear you...but its also a good way to get 3 coins instead of 1 if you have a luckier guess than your opponent in a genre you know dick about

i ended up going with Classic Rap for 249 coins instead of West Coast Rap for 399

think my next few will be Classic R&B, Reggae and Disco because I played a disco round and got 5/5

k I just discovered that the "Electronic" category is super wide-ranging, covering stuff that even I haven't heard of

prolly a mix of all the electronic-oriented playlists with some of "Today's Hits" thrown in for good measure, like Gotye and Ellie Goulding
(also the fastest time I've ever recorded was 0.8s for Goulding's "Lights"~♥)
