TWW,
I am looking to get a granite counter top cut/reinforced to have a larger appliance opening. Can anyone recommend a skilled subcontractor with references who works inside the beltline?

Are you looking for someone to do this on site? Good luck man. I would be scared shitless to try and remove + recut a mounted granite countertop without cracking it. 12/5/2012 11:59:32 AM |

It has to be removed and wet cut I think. You do not want carcinogenic granite dust in your house. 12/5/2012 12:01:27 PM |

My understanding is that granite can be cut in place dry with a diamond blade if the area is masked off and the saw is running a good quality vacuum. 12/5/2012 2:56:31 PM |
