nah...i haven't really thought about it

knowing that so many people have I (which, i think, is less aggressive) and in its usual oral location, it doesn't bother me

My ex tried to say that I gave her herpes about a year ago. I went to the doc, he said you can get it in any open cut or fissure, and the virus will show up on a blood test. When i relayed this to her (in the doctors office) she told me that she had a bump on her vagina, and demanded I get blood tested. Results came back negative. hoe

I was in the midst of preparing to enter a girl a few years ago when she told me in the most apologetic, I'm-about-to-get-rejected way that she had herpes. She was a cool ass chick and she said she hadn't had an outbreak in months and I appreciated her honesty and I was hammered so I double-bagged it because for whatever reason I almost always rip condoms open

Woke up the next morning horrified at my recklessness but I've been tested several times in the years since and nothing ever turned up

So, to answer the question, apparently not if I'm shithoused and feeling lucky

^^^ i'm fairly certain that it's unlikely you will contract herpes unless the person is currently having an outbreak, due to the nature of the virus (in that it's dormant except during outbreaks...which is part of why they can't cure it)

i'm not a doctor, though, so i might be making that up...certainly play it safe, in any case
