^ it was the whole teams fault, but the deadline was so utterly unrealistic... it was to rewrite an entire app in 2 weeks. Its hard when you only have a dev team of 4 people.

Rewriting thousands of lines of script a day, then having to deal with bugs, working 5:30am to 6pm is really brutal. We had to rewrite an entire API as well.

Sounds like the kind of deadlines our teams sometimes make. People doing the actual work know they're impossible but managament makes the promise to execs anyway. Ridiculous.

^^ I agree, making agreements with other companies with very unrealistic deadlines. Ugh, very stressful. Its like the deadlines are based off we are speed typers, are doing no testing, and no bugs pop up. Its usually never bad like this... really based off promising others that it would be done by a given date.
