Does anyone else do this?

Checking Out is what someone does right before a holiday or vacation (or when they get a different job), where the amount of care and fucks given about work items dwindles to nearly nothing - and all concern and thought is put toward the upcoming event.

we have multiple 'Christmas shutdown' projects going on that I have been working on since this summer... lots of stress, lots of stress

but now... there's a conference room table full of goodies and Christmas music playing!

It's been a pain in the ass this week to get anything done. All my customers have pretty much checked out and won't return emails/calls for me to help resolve some issues. And co-workers have checked out. Finally yesterday around 1:30 I was like, fuck it. I'm out. And I took today off. See you bitches January 2nd!
