It's probably societal expectations.

White people perceive blacks as all being criminals in gangs, then you see one that doesn't fit your stereotype, and it's extra cute. It's the same reason people like Wayne Brady.

I think mixed babies are the cutest! There was one at my preschool who had a Jamaican mom and a white nerdy dad and he was so fucking adorable that it blew my mind.
