I was gonna post that this seemed like some shitty rights grab for the university, but then I saw the fine print:

Quote :

"You will retain full ownership of any and all copyrights, but we ask that you grant the University a nonexclusive right to authorize all uses of these materials for non-commercial research, scholarly, or educational purposes or to publicize the Libraries, compatible with a Creative Commons Attribution, Non-commercial license"

Seems like a pretty cool marketing gimmick that only costs ~$350. Winner gets an iPad Mini.

Also since it seems like the winner is decided by popular vote, you should make sure there's an attractive girl in the photo with some, but not too much, skin showing.

^^ I never said it was good? I didn't know about this competition when I took this, actually. I could go over there with my DSLR and get all Ansel Adams on it, but that's not really what an Instagram-based photo competition is about anyway.
