She said she couldn't handle doing it to her body. From what I understand, taking it the way you have was a misrepresentation of what she meant when she said that. I think she has a medical issue that would make it dangerous/difficult for her to have kids.

She has really bad endometriosis, and PCOS. So while technically she may have been able to get pregnant, it would probably have taken fertility treatments and would have been painful.
