in the gas tank, anyway
after half a tank, i feel like i have 102HP instead of 100
seriously, though, it's done wonders (so far) for my filthy 180k engine...and it's half the price of seafoam...it might dissolve a hole in your tank if you leave it too long in there, though 1/24/2013 4:28:14 PM |

hate to tell ya but you're wasting your money. gas already contains 10% ethanol which is the best fuel system cleaner on the market. 1/24/2013 8:34:19 PM |

^^ yeah, you mentioned that in my toyota echo thread...and, fwiw, i know you're right...(m)ethanol is a great everyday detergent
but, from what i've read, the acetone in b12 is much more potent and does a fantastic job of breaking up the gunk that has built up over 180k miles...i replaced my PCV valve because it was absolutely disgusting with black slime
and just this half tank has made a noticeable difference (and finally seems to have shut off my SES light)

What is it in Seafoam that leaves the lovely blue cloud of smoke around town after treatment? 1/25/2013 2:34:33 PM |

Seafoam is naptha and oil... and that's it. It smokes because of the oil in it, it's not cleaning anything.
