My company is hiring on a new part time QC associate. Company tends to have a preference for NCSU grads.

"Position Summary: The QC Associate reports to the QC Manager Responsible for physical and biological evaluation of final product, intermediate products, and raw materials. They will assist the QC manager with all functions of QC laboratory.

General Responsibilities:
-Performing QC assays,
-Writing and establishing specifications,
-Assisting in the validation of QC assays,
-Recording or maintaining documentation and storage of samples, and
-Writing SOPs and reports

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in area of specialty preferred, but not required.
-1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area,
-Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of basic laboratory work,
-A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required."

final product is a protease. working with it will require proper PPE, so gloves, glasses and a respirator.

I have a feeling there is a chance it can be bumped up to full time, but that's just my own opinion based on how the work load has been growing the past year. So officially I can't say that it will.
