I used to be a regular at the MV CaJ but for some reason I switched cold-turkey to the Hillsborough shop a year and a half ago or so. I'm there 3-4 times a week

Usually on my bike so parking isn't an issue but man when I have to park in the back I swear every fucking time it looks like a bunch of cars just fell out of the sky and landed haphazardly. It's like hipsters can't see straight white lines anymore

I used to work at the Hills. CAJ (and the MV one and the N. Raleigh one too)

I hated working at the Hills. CAJ so much. I would leave work and smell like burnt coffee and cigarettes. I had to wash my clothes like 2 times just to get the smell out.

I know there's no smoking anymore but I bet it still stinks.

Though the $40 in tips I'd make every day made my stench a little more bearable.

It was in Quail Corners (Millbrook and Falls)

That location didn't do as well as the other locations so the owners of CAJ sold that location to two women and they renamed it Percolator Lounge but they still served CAJ coffee. I stayed on w/ Percolator Lounge for like 2 more years after that.

Percolator Lounge closed down in 2010 I think. Its now a pharmacy.

I am extremely allergic and sensitive to cigarette smoke smell, Hills St Cup A Joe does not bother me at all now. I've never tried hanging out for a long time in the back part, but I can get it to go or hang out in the front part just fine, so I imagine I'd be okay in the back.

But I haven't been in awhile, they changed their food or something and its not as good now

Haha, I'm the opposite, during undergrad I was almost always at the Hboro location... then suddenly made a switch and I'm at the MV one 3-4 times a week now.
