Even though it was the campus police building when I was there, that little tunnel part seemed to be the creepiest/sketchiest part of campus at night. That year I lived in Gold, I hated walking by that place

When I was in college campus police sent out a crime warning one time that said a girl was attacked near the field house by a guy. He threw her against a fence and she pepper sprayed him, but he got away.

I hate to see historic buildings torn down only to be forgotten, but I agree that it was creepy and not well maintained. I'm sure they will do something nice with the space like they did with the east stadium bleachers. I used to run stair repeats on them before they fenced it in.

Yeah I was just on campus the other day and walked through there for the first time in 10 years and I got that same ol' familiar feeling.

I, too, hate to see historic buildings torn down. But in this case, it had almost zero architectural merit, was freaking awful inside, terribly maintained, and in an awkward, location. There's a better use for the space.

Glad to see they saved the relief-cast block S medallion from the gable though.

^I doubt they every tear that down. It is used for too many other things (ROTC, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, etc).

Whoever decides to tear down Reynolds will be hunted down and pulled apart limb by limb.

Reynolds has incredible historical significance for not only the university, but the state as well. I doubt it'll ever go, especially since they're about to renovate it for its current uses and put a Hall of Fame inside.
