the only place i've had a really bad experience with service was the flying saucer, and i don't think it's particularly the worst bar in raleigh.


oh, UGLY MONKEY. that place was just bad all around. i've only been once but it was pretty much the sleaziest drinking establishment i have ever been to on this planet.

first of all why did you puke? do you think the people there make enough money to be expected to clean up your bodily fluids?

to throw up in a bar you've got to be a real amateur drinker, possibly with a gluten intolerance but definitely covered in red flags for alcoholism

^It wasn't me. It was a drunk girl who was let through the door even though she had trouble walking. Then a friend that was with me puked in the toilet and flushed. He didn't make a mess. Then the drunk girl puked in the sink, but didn't clean it up. After all of that our friend got blamed for something he didn't do.

sure Landmark is full of too-cool-for-school late-20s early-30s yuppies but they are actually approachable

The Point is full of guys that will call you bro and scream in your face

^ Deep South usually doesn't let clearly intoxicated people through the door. I've seen them turn many away. If she got in it was through an oversight because they are very responsible.

Churchhills used to be such an awesome spot

We would pre-game there every weekend night and throw darts

Then it was purchased, cleaned and opened up so you could see inside and turned shitty and into a bro hangout. All the cool bartenders quit and I haven't been back since

I'd just like it known that my evaluations of bars have little to do with the staff

mostly these are based on the clientele but some consideration is given for aesthetics and prices
