Eye contact is the shit. Its intimidating for some people because locking eyes means that you are basically shutting out the rest of the entire world which is pretty intimate.

I get told I'm a good listener because I keep eye contact.

It bothers me when other people don't make contact much at all during a conversation but I know some people listen better when they don't. That's hard for me to wrap my mind around though.
