No it was a reference to the way the nerd tapped into the casino's security video feed.
I'm assuming the casino has a camera on the blackjack dealer's cards to prevent any shady business by the dealer. By tapping into that feed, the player knew exactly what number he had to beat, or whether the dealer was likely to bust.
