Its obvious that Brain was a closeted homosexual, while Pinky was more open. Pinky would always ask "what they were going to do tonight?", hoping that Brain would submit to an encounter.
On the other hand, Brain was obsessed with taking over/changing the world in hopes that as supreme ruler he would be free to express his latent homosexual desires.
