So I need to get about 6-7 drunks from downtown raleigh to downtown durham and back this friday night. I looked at taxifarefinder and it looks like it's $61 one-way for 5 people. Any TWWers have any thoughts or tips?

~$28 per person sounds like a fare deal to me.

If I was going to be in town I'd do it for $100. But I'm not.

Maybe one of you should show some restraint and be the DD.

^^^unless someone has a van or bus, they would need multiple DDs to get that many people around safely

^No doubt. Two in each bed and make a couple pallets and you're good. Just don't forget to bring the couch cushions with you.

Actually Raleigh to Durham and back for $20 a person is not that bad when you think about it.

The bar tabs for these 6-7 people are going to be 3 times that at least a piece...

I don't see what the question is here.

Wasn't there some DD service where they would come to you and drive your car, and they had like a foldup scooter they would put in the trunk and then drive themselves home on that?

Taking a bus there is OK, but you don't want to wait at a bus stop drunk off your ass after midnight, if you can even find the stop. Just call a cab.

Ok, I picked a day and clicked the drop down list for times and the last time was before midnight. So in the drop down lists, the after midnight times are listed first then it lists the PM times in order. That is confusing.

1. Challenge each person in your group to find a one night stand.
2. Drive back the next morning.
3. ...
4. Profit.
