They could very well be descended from the tribes and peoples of southern Egypt. Once you get about 2/3 the length of the country, the racial makeup quickly moves from Olive complexion people to very dark skinned people. This maps to the ancient Nubian kingdoms which clashed often with Egyptians in lower Egypt (upper Nile)

let me rephrase.... i don't doubt that some southern egyptians migrated south and mingled with sub-saharans, but these people on this group on youtube were claiming ownership of the giza pyramids and distancing themselves from anything "dark man" related.

There was a period in Egyptian history where the Nubian kingdom(s) did indeed reach almost to the Mediterranean Sea. So, yes, it's possible. Nubia comprised about the southern 1/2-1/3 of Egypt along with pretty much all of modern day Sudan.

Sooo in an ancient sense, yeah there's plenty of black folks who could very much claim Egypt as their ancestral heritage. In a semi-modern sense though (aka in the last 1000+ years), thats a bunch of bullshit

Ancient Egyptians were black. Its not even debatable really. Doesn't mean there are Americans that link back but you guys really look dumb making fun of people about something you don't understand. Look at the drawings from the empire. They do not have olive skin. Arabs and Europeans took over Egypt which is why modern day Egyptians are Olive.


There were light people in the Egyptian empire but they were Abraham's people and were mostly slaves. The people running the show were dark.
