Almost always say, "shit" before turning the alarm completely off and going back to sleep.

It seems more reasonable to just set the alarm to whatever time I plan to wakeup, snoozing included.

as opposed to interrupting my sleep 100 times over.

any "science" behind this?

i definitely think i would be more productive if i could wake up naturally go into work. i'd probably get to work about 9:30 and still get more done between 10-4 than i do between 8-5

I hate hitting snooze, because once I'm awake I know I'm not getting any additional rest and I'm wasting my own time. It usually takes me a couple minutes to wake up and get ready to get out of bed though, so when I actually need to get up at a certain time, I usually set the alarm and then hit snooze with a goal of getting out of bed before it goes off again. That usually doesn't happen. I have been very bad lately because I usually don't have to get up at a particular time, and my bed is really comfortable and I hate leaving it.

I used to pop out of bed no problem, but I believe my sleep apnea's gotten worse in the last few years, so I'm always exhausted. Snooze for a half hour, a full hour if I showered the night before.

I aim get enough sleep and not to snooze, or at the most only hit it once. If my work schedule forces me to get 5 or less hours, as it occasionally does, then I have a hard time not snoozing then. Even though if I'm having to get up early for something, that's the time when I most need to avoid snoozing, it's also the time where I'm thinking less clearly and to end up snoozing the most. Most mornings though, I'm not snoozing.

Alarm goes off at 7am. Hit snooze, go back to sleep. Alarm goes off again at 7:10, disable it but look at my stories on the phone. Second alarm goes off at 7:20 and I either get up or look at more stories.

I generally like to just get out of bed when I wake up but I am on a more consistent sleep schedule now. I still wake up at like 7 even on the weekends and can't get back to sleep. Usually I just get up and play some video games until everyone else wakes up. During the week I dont really have a choice because I am the second one to get up so by that time the snooze has been hit several times.

clock on the passenger side of the bed goes off: roll over, go back to sleep

clock at my ear goes off: turn it off

alarm on phone goes off: check to see who's calling

alarm in kitchen goes off: sleep through it

all alarms stop going off, dead silence: wake up thinking I'm late

my alarms are set for 6:45, 7:20, 7:30

and when each of those alarms go off i hit snooze between them. I have the alarms set so that if i accidently hit "off" or whatever instead of snooze im not fucked...or if i decide id rather sleep a full nother 20 or so minutes

i used to hit snooze, but never anymore. i got tired of teasing myself with just a little more sleep, so now i set it for when i absolutely must get up and make it so i have to get out of bed to turn it off.

Wake up immediately.

My alarm is set for, pretty much, the latest I can possibly wake up and still be on time. Snoozing would make me late. And setting my alarm earlier just to snooze it a few times seems pointless to me.

Also I'd rather have uninterrupted sleep than keep getting interrupted by the alarm just to snooze it again

I snooze 2 or 3 times every week day. I don't bother with alarms on the weekend, or my wife wakes me up.

I like to snooze over and over and go in and out of dreams. This often makes getting out of bed difficult.

First my clock goes off and I hit snooze.
Five minutes later my phone alarm goes off and I hit snooze.
Five minutes later my clock next to my bed, my phone, and my Clocky go off. I always set my Clocky to the setting where it just starts rolling and I can't hit snooze, so that wakes me up about 50% of the time.

If those don't work I'll hear Eric's alarm after snoozing mine constantly for about half an hour, then I realize I need to get moving and I finally get up.

5:30am, after at least 6 hrs sleep

no snooze

I sort of do the reverse version of this (meaning, from my back) to sit up in bed

I use the alarm on my phone and I typically hit the snooze button twice. I swear that sleep between the first alarm and second alarm going off is some of the best sleep in the world.

always up..snoozing is a waste...you don't actually get any more rested imo. I just set my alarm for when I need to be up.
