About 10 years ago I lived in a studio for a two year period. The only difference between my experience and what you see in the B&W photos was that the window took up the whole wall compared to what you see in that first photo.

The counters, cabinets, and stove were the exact same. Wouldn't be surprised if the fridge was the original too.

$400/month. $17 electric bills. Free cable. Free heat in the winter, free perpetual sauna in the summer time. A fire alarm loud enough to be heard a mile away installed in every studio apartment. Kids from further down Method road pulling the fire alarm in the dead of the night every so often. Good times.

lol I use to party there all of the time with Dusty who was one of those guys that pulled in loads of ass by being an ass to chicks. I thought that it would work for me, but I just didn't have the swag for it. as soon as I started being aggressive with a girl they would just walk away and then I would be all "I am sorry I am just a little drunk don't leave" like a winey bitch. But Dusty could pull it off. Maybe it was the effect of the skinny house that made everything else look big in perspective. Don't know.
