A friend of mine said he takes peanuts to shipping stores and hands them over. When I moved he took 3 trash bags of peanuts away for me and said he was going to turn them in. I have not personally done that though, so YMMV.

just put them in a box in your driveway and then pour gasoline on them. They just disappear!

we used to recycle our styrofoam lunch trays in elementary school. (at least the teachers told us they were being recycled... they could have been dumping them in the trash after we left for all we knew.)

i really hate throwing a styrofoam because it's easily recycled...but most places won't take it because they can't make money on it

i do, at least, take the packing peanuts to UPS

Are they the cornstarch peanuts? If so, just dump them outside somewhere and spray them down with water

And if they aren't, spray them with gasoline. Poof! Gone.

^^ i thought those biodegradable peanuts were made of rice (not that i have anything to base this on, it was just my assumption)

i've eaten a couple...they might be good with peanut butter

Put peanuts in bottom of pot then potting soil and plant. Helps with drainage and weight of your potted plant.
