I helped to organize a screening of Ernest Goes To Camp at UNC-Asheville.
We argued that the film portrayed a working class hero uniting with underprivileged youth through a non-profit organization. Under the janitor's leadership the youth band together with local indigenous people to non-violently resist greedy corporate land developers set on polluting the pristine wilderness. 5/4/2013 12:58:46 AM |
