I just read that myself, and as long as Bourdain still loves us, meh. He can have his mustard.

loved it, thought it was hilarious. anyone who is actually mad should re-examine their priorities

and mustard sauce is not THAT bad if done right (unless you just despise mustard)/]

Colbert's a diehard Charlestonian and it's a commonly know fact that only people from South Carolina like South Carolina BBQ. Everyone outside of SC may debate the best between tomato based and vinegar based, but will all agree that dumping a bunch of yellow french's shit on pork is tantamount to putting ketchup on a steak.

Maybe he was talking about BBQ chicken, or beef, or did he specifically say BBQ pork?

Colbert is so much better than Stewart

one is a liberal that tries to do serious politics on Comedy Central, the other is a liberal that has a show full of LOLs on Comedy Central

I have had SC bbq. It's not bad. The taste is fairly similar to our vinegar sauce.

^^nope. if you are using hot sauce, texas pete is the only way to go... especially since it originated and is made in NC.

there are other places that use a mustard based sauce. bono's in jacksonville, florida comes to mind.

NC's vinegar is the best. but if you can't appreciate other types of bbq, i feel sorry for your mother
