I dont really know how i feel about this ...

Quote :
"Smith has been curiously silent about the Koch-BuzzFeed partnership, and probably for good reason.

After I sent this news of this to Mark Ames, he reminded me that this isn’t the first time Ben Smith has boosted for the Kochs. In 2011, Ben Smith attacked a report published in The Nation by Ames and Mike Elk that exposed how Citizen United made it perfectly legal for the Kochs to begin politically indoctrinating their employees, telling workers how to vote and warning them that they could lose their jobs as a result of big-government policies. Smith yawned at evidence of Koch indoctrination exposed by Ames and Elk, saying that their “quirky, staid newsletter may not swing a lot of votes.”"

"Our story begins late last week when I got a tweet from @AlphaInvictus telling me to go check "who's sponsoring BuzzFeed today."

I wasn't expecting much… After all, BuzzFeed's known for creating custom posts for advertisers, like the "15 Delicious Things You Can Stuff In A Crescent Roll" post it created for Pillsbury. Weird, yes. Possibly even shady, given how BuzzFeed's sponsored content looks almost exactly the same as its regular posts. But given the scandal over the Atlantic's advertorial for Scientology, most sites have become ultra-cautious about allowing controversial sponsors to brand their "content." How bad could BuzzFeed's latest sponsor be?

Pretty bad.

Visiting BuzzFeed.com, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The site's entire "Politics" subsection was plastered with the name of Charles Koch, the world’s scariest billionaire-brother, who runs the biggest private company in America. "

Where is the chem trail / fluoride guy to give us the conspiracy perspective?

So the last line of the summary of the second article says scariest billionaire, why are the Koch brothers scary, is it because that website doesn't like their politics or is it because they are grotesque

to boycott them would mean boycotting most of the products you use in your everyday life. It's crazy.

buzzfeed isnt something you would think big ole conservative supporters would be interested in.

the Kochs are scary billionaires. They do what they want with little care to humanity. They just built a 2 story tar sand coke pile in Detroit along the river. This is shit they ship to mexico and china as a fuel alternative. its terrible for the atmosphere

they also just got a pbs documentary about them axed because they're big supporters of public broadcasting. they don't care about conservative values at all, only power.

these are men that have interests in nearly every sector of the economy except banking and are actively trying to crush the federal reserve (something i agree with in principle). it's hard to imagine their goal is not to have people spending Koch dollars to live.

they're also responsible for the current state of congress, especially the house. as it turns out ~$30k is all it takes to buy a house rep.

Detroit is a dump anyways people are leaving that city anyways which is why you can buy a house for less than a used car.

^meaning what that only the GOP is run by private donors and lobbying groups? Both sides are guilty of this. Its just a majority of the people on this site lean center-left to far left. Therefore the Koch brothers are public enemy number 1. While the right view George Soros as the same. Unfortunately in the USA money = power.
