a good mustard based sauce is actually damn good. I love pretty much all of the regional variations of bbq though. Eastern NC being my favorite, and Texan probably at the bottom.

Nobody ever mentions Memphis style (wet and dry) or Kansas City style in these threads.

Oh man, it really annoys me when I see "Carolina Style BBQ Sauce" in stores and it is mustard based. Although the mustard based BBQ sauce is bad, it isn't nearly as bad as the mayo based sauce they have here in Alabama .
