Is a power bridge like this the best (easiest?) solution for in wall power & HDMI?http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10425&cs_id=1042513&p_id=4652&seq=1&format=2I can wire up a separate outlet & use something like this:http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10425&cs_id=1042501&p_id=7332&seq=1&format=2But the first option will let me run the television through my power center/surge protector & seems like it could be a bit simpler & future proof.

I have that same power bridge and it has worked out very well.

option #1 seems a bit more reasonable. just ordered pretty much exactly the same thing from Amazon myself for about $1 more.

wait, wut?Am I missing something? Option 1: one receptacle behind your TV, the other near some other outlet. Then a short power cable is plugged from the 2nd receptacle into the outlet, thereby getting juice to the TV receptacle? If you have to go through all that mess, why not just add an outlet to the existing circuit?[Edited on May 30, 2013 at 10:18 PM. Reason : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQKMDd_OXTk oic meh]
